Devon Conway, the elegant left-handed batter is number three on the list. Though the New Zealand batter was bought by the Chennai Super Kings at a base price of INR 1 Crore in the 2022 mega auction, Conway has already put an appealing choice for many franchises in search of an Opening batter who also provides a wicket-keeping option. In his maiden IPL season in 2022, Conway scored 252 runs in 7 matches but was followed by a phenomenal title-winning season in 2023 for Chennai which saw him scoring 672 runs in 16 matches averaging 51 which included six fifties.
Unfortunately, the left-handed batter was ruled out of the 2024 IPL season due to a thumb injury. But CSK could secure him with one RTM (Right to Match). However, considering the auction dynamics, other teams might also target Devon Conway as a potential option.
