Travis Head’s explosive knock of 140 came to an end when Mohammed Siraj rattled the stumps of the Australian batter through a stunning yorker. But what further led was Siraj’s celebration after the wicket with a brutal send-off towards Travis Head with Head replying with few words back.

Australia approached into the second innings having bowled out the visitors for 180 in the first innings. Travis Head walked out to bat When Steve Smith was dismissed cheaply with Australia losing their third wicket for 103. Head was involved in a 65-run stand with Marnus Labuschagne before Marnus was dismissed for 64., Australia lost a couple of wickets in a quick session. It was Head alongside Carrey who brought Australia’s innings back on track with Head who took on the Indian bowlers.

Travis Head took the aerial route later in his innings and brought up his century off 111 balls which included 10 boundaries & three sixes with the majority of his runs coming in the form of boundaries.

Even after reaching his century, Head continued to dominate & countered the second new ball with explosive intent.

Mohammed Siraj came in the 82nd over to share the second new ball alongside Jaspreet Bumrah. Head had scored 14 runs off the over which included two boundaries & a six before Siraj bounced back with a yorker that dismantled the stumps of Travis Head which was followed by an aggressive celebration by Mohamed Siraj.

Following Siraj’s celebration, the Indian pacer was treated by boos from the Australian crowd while he was fielding at boundary ropes & wild celebrations were followed when Runs were scored against him by Australian batters.

Australia was eventually bowled out for 337 with a lead of 157 runs as Mohammed Siraj was India’s top bowler who scalped four wickets in the innings but Travis Head’s innings put the hosts in the driving seat.
